The Northern Link project team has been actively maintaining good communication with various stakeholders, sharing the latest information and progress of the project to enhance transparency. Recently, the team invited members of the Legislative Council and the North District Council for visits to the construction site of Kwu Tung Station on the East Rail Line. They were guided to see the latest status after the completion of bulk excavation works and to gain a deeper understanding of the project's progress. They also learnt how the project team utilises innovation and technology to address the construction challenges within the operating railway tunnels so as to ensure that the works proceed smoothly without affecting the daily operations of the East Rail Line.
After the visit, the guests expressed excitement in witnessing the progress of the Kwu Tung Station project. They also acknowledged the difficulties and challenges encountered in constructing the new station, and appreciated the teamwork and professionalism of the project team.
